Tonja Rae Harris

Tonja Mae Harris, 48, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at a local medical center. She was born on May 11, 1968 in Idaho Falls, ID to Don and Fonda Harris. Tonja attended schools in Shelley and Idaho Falls. She lived in Pocatello, Blackfoot, Shelley and Idaho Falls. She was married to Joseph Hamilton, that marriage ended in divorce. She married R. J. Whiting that also ended in divorce. Tonja attended the Trinity Lutheran Church and also associated with the LDS church. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandsons. She enjoyed going on outings with her boyfriend, Lee. She loved watching Animal Planet, talking to and encouraging others. She would leave voicemails and texts saying how much she loved someone. Tonja always had a 100 oz. soda with her and she enjoyed community activities. She is survived by her daughters, Joan Hamilton, Wyoming, Andrea (Tully) Warren, Idaho; grandsons, Asher Warren, Carson Warren, Eden Warren; brother, Troy Harris, Idaho; sisters, Tammy Harris and Tracie Harris, both of Idaho. She is preceded in death by her parents; and an infant sister, Sonja Kay Harris. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 3-6 pm at 965 Hoopes Ave. Idaho Falls, ID 83404.
