Our superhero mother, sister, and friend, Adalia Worth Bollschweiler, 87, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, in Pocatello, Idaho. She was a resident of Quail Ridge Assisted Living Center in Pocatello, Idaho for the past three years and a resident of American Falls, Idaho for 50 years.
She was born on July 15, 1938, in Pocatello, Idaho to Garr and Adrienne Worth and the second of four children. Adalia attended Pocatello High School and graduated in 1957. She attended college for one year.
On April 14, 1959, Adalia and Lawrence Claude Bollschweiler created their eternal family by being married in the Idaho Falls Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They were blessed to be the parents of ten children. She and Larry have 32 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Adalia served in many volunteer capacities with the Red Cross as she loved helping others learn CPR and emergency preparedness. She was a genealogical name indexer for her Church, a Primary President, a Relief Society President, Relief Society teacher, and had many other callings. Adalia also served beside her husband in Salt Lake City on two different service missions in the Family History Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Larry, a son, Creg, and sisters, Garienne Worth and Barbara Wilkinson. She is survived by her brother, Grant (Margaret) Worth, and her nine children: Joni (Darl) Bennett, Chris (Kelly) Bollschweiler, Trenna (David) McCashland, Alan (DeeArla) Bollschweiler, Doug (Denyse) Bollschweiler, Ryan (Heather) Bollschweiler, David (Teresa) Bollschweiler, Rhonda (Ryan) Haroldsen, and Lorraine Bollschweiler.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1701 Bartz Drive, Pocatello, ID. A viewing will be held prior beginning at 8:30 am. Burial will follow the service at the Lund Cemetery in Bancroft, ID.
