Alean Rose Packer

Alean Rose Bowden Packer, 92, returned to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 29, 2026, just one day short of her 93rd year.

Born on January 30, 1933, she was the daughter of Doyle and Velean Bowden.

She was preceded in death by her parents; inlaws, Leo and Ina Packer; husband, Wm. L. Packer (Bill); Rea Johnson, Loral and Paul Wells, Duane Bowden, Modesta and Barbara, Dale Bowden and Sharon, Keith and Karen Barnes (siblings), Alean LaNel Bock, Craig William Packer and Kyle James Packer (children), Ethan Van Brunt, Bonnie Lee Packer (grandchildren), Ethan Romriell, Hayden Romnell (great grandchildren).

She is survived by Ina VanBrunt, Deena Packer Roberts (Ron), Duane Packer (Kelley), Sheryl Packer, Vandaira Packer (children), 33 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Sunday February 8, 2026 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, ID. Viewings will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Saturday, February 7 and prior to the service on Sunday, beginning at 10:00 am. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 9 at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S 5th Avenue, Pocatello, ID.
