Antonio “Tony” Ray Stone left this world on May 26, 2023, at the age of 42. He was born on May 25, 1981, to Cindy Stone and James Ireland in Pocatello, Idaho.
Tony was a creative person who had a natural talent for music. Tony was skilled in the art of drawing, enjoyed working with his hands, and loved figuring out how things work. Tony was an adventurous free spirit who enjoyed disc golf, riding bikes, and exploring new places.
Tony grew up in Pocatello, Idaho where he had many friends and his family. As a youth, Tony enjoyed building and riding BMX bikes. Tony also enjoyed attending Mountain Man Rendezvous with his grandfather Rocky. This is where he learned how to play the Indian love flute. If an instrument made a sound Tony could make it beautiful and those who were lucky enough to hear him play would agree he was truly talented.
Tony married Ranae Storer on February 3, 2001. In that union, Tony and Ranae had a son Merrick J. Stone. They were later divorced but remained friends.
Tony is survived by his mother, Cindy Stone; brother, David “DJ” Jensen; sister, Jessica Jensen (Justin Williams); son, Zachary Willey, Merrick J. Stone, Whinter Stone, and Emberley Ray-Lyn Stone. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Patrosinia “Pat” Stone, and his grandfather, George “Rocky” Stone.
Tony will be remembered for his artistic talents, his love for music, and his outgoing charismatic personality. Tony will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.
