Azafina "Fina" or "Beanz" 35 was born September 11, 1989, and passed April 12, 2025, at University of Utah hospital with family members by her side.

Fina was born in Pocatello, Idaho to Aloys and Arlene (Meeks) Ortiz. She was a family -oriented person who loved her kids more than anything. She was honest, thoughtful, loving, caring, and hilarious, always having something funny to say, if she knew you needed help she would try her best to help any way she could. Fina was all around a beautiful person inside and out.

Fina loved listening to all types of music, but her favorite was SPM, she could listen to him all day. One of her favorite things to do was cruising everywhere just to see the beautiful scenery. She loved joking around and teasing, especially with her kids. She loved watching movies and keeping up on the latest hip hop news was her favorite thing to do.

Fina's work history started at Oregon Trail in ft hall as a waitress, later on worked a few jobs at Motel 6, Marriott and Holiday Inn she had multiple positions from housekeeper to supervisor to assistant manager. She also worked at Walmart and as a Surveillance Officer with the Casino.

Azafina is survived by two children Ahmari and Milliyah Cherry, a nephew she took care of Alejandro Poog, father Aloys Ortiz, Mother Arlene(Meeks) Ortiz, two siblings Arriyon Meeks, and Affalene Ortiz. Aunt JanaLee Meeks Montez, Aunt Alfreda Meeks, cousins Arthur, Victoria, Christopher, Demetrius, Alexander Montez, Andrea, Manuel, Vanessa Sanchez and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by grandparents (paternal) Francisco Ortiz, Cirila Trejo (both Mexico), (maternal) Alfred Meeks, Effie Ottogary, nephew Benicio Ortiz-Edmo, cousin Howard Meeks, Nephew Francisco Martinez, D'lite Moemberg (best friend).

Fina has a family viewing on April 17, 2025. She will be cremated and taken to her mother's home (Ortiz Residence) on 31 N. Treaty Hwy, Fort Hall, Idaho on April 18, 2025 @ 11 am to 5pm.
