Barbara "Barbie" J. Smith

Barbara "Barbie" Joann Smith (Berkman), 40 passed away on March 15, 2025.

Barbie was born on March 17, 1984 to Tim and Donna (Pike) Berkman. She was the oldest child. She has three younger sisters, Chelsea, Kharma, and Shandie. She enjoyed riding horses, mules, shooting, camping, various outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.

She graduated from Edwardsville High School in 2002. After high school she worked in the medical field as a CNA.

In 2009, she met the love of her life, Rene Smith. They married on August 13, 2010. In December of 2010, she met her in-laws for the first time. On April 15, 2011, their son Zackary was born, joining his brother, Mason, and his sister, Alyssa.

A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4890 Whitaker Road, Chubbuck, ID 83202.
