Barry McCarthy, 48, died June 28, 2010 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born August 25, 1961, in Garden Grove, California, the ninth child of ten children born to William and Catherine McCarthy.
Barry attended elementary and Loara High School in Anaheim, California. He went on to Idaho State University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. He continued on with his studies towards a master's degree.
He loved camping, fishing, biking, reading, and working with his hands. The new love in his life was his 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
He is survived by daughter, Hailey; 2 brothers, William (Judi) McCarthy, Robin (Marcy) McCarthy; and 4 sisters, Barbara (Duane) Bowden, Linda (Tim) Larson, Mary (Mike) Lawler, and Maureen (Jerry) Green, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and special friend Jill.
Barry is preceded in death by both of his parents, sister, Sheila Phillips and 2 brothers, David and Kevin McCarthy.
He was taken from us far too soon and it will be difficult to get thru life without him in it.
