Bernadette Marie Roper

Bernadette Roper, 70, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026, after a courageous five-year battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis, a disease for which she became a dedicated advocate. Born on September 26, 1955, Bernadette's most cherished role in life was that of a loving mother to her two beautiful children.

Throughout her career, Bernadette dedicated herself to helping others feel beautiful and valued. In the final nine years of her life, she faithfully served as a Family Search missionary, a testament to her deep commitment to family history and connection.

Bernadette is survived by her devoted husband, Grant; her sisters, Cathy and Monica; her daughters, Lela, Sara, and Janae; her sons, Jared and Andrew; and her cherished grandchildren, Jasmine, Jayda, Ayson, Wyatt, Jemzie, Tayten, Alessandra, Jackson, Austin, and Luke. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Louis.

A funeral service will be held at the LDS Chapel, 4773 Independence Ave, Chubbuck, ID 83202, on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. A reception will begin at 10:30 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am.
