Bette Jean Lochridge

Bette Jean Lochridge, 90, passed away quietly in her sleep on August 21 2026.

She was born on February 1, 1936, to Theran and Peggy Edwards. She grew up in the Springfield, Idaho area. She went to nursing school in Spokane, Washington where she met her husband, G. Kress Lochridge.

She had three children and lived in many states before finally settling in Pocatello, Idaho where she loved her job as a labor and delivery and life flight nurse at Bannock Memorial Hospital for 30+ years.

She was an avid seamstress and also loved camping, gold panning, running the river and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael; brother, Ted; and parents.

She is survived by her son, Chris (Karen); daughter, JaCee (Randy); 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 pm on Friday, October 2, 2026 at the Elks Lodge, 410 S Main Street, Pocatello, ID 83204.
