Carol Jean Wahl-Miller

Carol Jean Wahl-Miller, 85, of Hansen, Idaho, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026, in Twin Falls, Idaho. Carol was born in Burley, Idaho, on November 27, 1940, to Albert Wahl and Dorothy Stevenson.

Growing up as one of five siblings, family was always at the center of Carol's world. She shared a lifetime of deep bonds, thick-as-thieves loyalty, and constant laughter with her brother and sisters.

If Carol was in the room, you knew it. She was unequivocally the life of the party. She brought a bright, sassy energy to every room she walked into, never missing a chance to crack a joke or stir up a little fun. She loved Idaho and was a native of Idaho. A true Western soul, she had a soft spot for cowboys, loved the excitement of a good rodeo, and never got tired of watching team roping. When she wasn't taking in the sights of the West, she was usually busy working on her latest creative project. She had a wonderful talent for making custom jewelry and hand-painting pillowcases, leaving her family and friends with beautiful, personal keepsakes they will treasure forever.

Carol never met a stranger, and she built a wonderful life surrounded by people who loved her just as fiercely as she loved them. She was right in her element with her tight-knit circles, whether making memories with the Dam Fools or getting dressed up for an outing with the Red Hatters. Her sharp wit, generosity, and pure zest for life made her the heart of every gathering.

She will be deeply missed by her brother, Larry Wahl; her sister, Cindy Keithley; and many nieces and nephews, and the countless friends whose lives were brighter just by having her in them. She is now reunited with her parents, Albert and Dorothy; her sisters, Pam and Becky; and her beloved husband, Craig, and stepfathers Lowell West and Verlin (Bean) Stevenson.

In true Carol fashion, the best way to honor her memory is to wear a little extra color, laugh a little louder, and live life with a whole lot of heart.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Wilks Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301.
