Cathy Alice Hochhalter

Cathy Alice Hochhalter (Dusko), 65, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, returning home to be with our Heavenly Father.

Cathy was born on April 8, 1960, in Great Falls, Montana, to the late Carl and Betty Dusko. Cathy's entire world was her family. She was loving, caring, and devoted her life to helping anyone who needed help - whether family, friends, or strangers. Her compassion knew no limits.

After retiring, Cathy chose the role she loved most: being a stay-at-home "gma." She poured her heart into her grandsons, Connor and Grayson, creating memories filled with laughter, warmth, and unconditional love. She also treasured traveling to any warm beach she could find with the love of her life, her husband Brett - moments that brought her deep joy and peace.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Betty Dusko; her sister, Lana Hayes; her brother-in-law, Dick Hayes; and her nephew, Ryan Dusko.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Brett Hochhalter; her son, Nic Nagel; her daughter, Kirsten Hochhalter; her grandsons, Connor Clayton and Grayson Hochhalter; her sister, Carlee Schott (Robert); her brother, Kenneth Dusko (Beverly); and many nieces and nephews who loved her.

Cathy's legacy is one of love, service, and family. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and always remembered for her open heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.

A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 - 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, ID.
