Cole J. Houston, born December 10, 1983, embarked on his next great adventure on June 15, 2026. A free spirit, Cole found his greatest joy and playground in the mountains of Southeast Idaho. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, camping, and shooting guns with friends and family. When not in the mountains, Cole could be found riding his BMX bike through town, often sharing his passion by helping local kids fix their bikes or teaching them tricks at the skate park.
Music was a constant companion for Cole, who enjoyed a wide variety of genres, played his own guitar, created his own music, and cherished time spent with friends. He held a degree in mechanics and generously used his skills to help those he cared about. Cole was known for his kindness, humor, and an infectious laugh that could fill any room.
He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend.
Cole is survived by his mother, Dianne W. Houston, his father, Jeff Houston, his stepmother, Evelyn, his sister, Georgia Christensen, his nephew, Cameron Christensen, his niece, Melissa Perry, his nephew, Jordan Willard, and his great-nephews and great-niece, Oden and Zayla. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Grandma and Grandpa Walker, and his paternal grandparents, Grandma and Grandpa Houston.
A celebration of life will be held July 25, 2026 from 4:00 pm ~ 7:00 pm at Alameda Park, 526 Randolph Avenue, Pocatello, Idaho. All are invited.
