Curtis Joe Anderson, age 46, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away unexpectedly on June 28, 2025. Curtis was born on July 10, 1978, in Pocatello, Idaho. He graduated from Idaho State University with an associate's degree before starting his career in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Curtis valued his independence and lived life on his own terms. He was the father of three sons: Christiane, Brayden, and Xander, the grandfather of Faelyn, and the brother of Christopher. Curtis is reunited in spirit with his mother, Pam Harral, who passed away in 2021.
A lifelong fan of Boise State football and NASCAR, Curtis could always be found cheering for his one and only team, Boise State. Curtis was no social butterfly. He was stubborn, hardheaded, and had a sharp sense of humor. Curtis wasn’t always easy to get along with, and he didn’t care much for sugarcoating things. Curtis knew he could be a pain in the butt, and if you ever brought it up, he’d simply shrug and say, “That’s life.”
A public viewing will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at
Wilks Funeral Home
211 W. Chubbuck Road
Chubbuck, Idaho 83202.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you share a story or memory of Curtis, or just spend some time doing something you enjoy, maybe while watching the classic Boise State vs. Oklahoma game from 2007.
Curtis will be remembered for his stubbornness, his unfiltered honesty, and the one-of-a-kind spirit he brought into our lives.
He may be gone, but he’ll always #BleedBlue. Go Broncos!
