Cynthia Jo Chavarria, 53, of Blackfoot, Idaho, passed away peacefully after battling health issues on September 15th, 2025 — a date that held deep meaning, as it was also the birthday of her beloved mother, Juanita Hernanez-Rodriguez who turned 72 that day.
Born in Blackfoot on June 2, 1972, Cynthia was known to her family and friends simply as "Cyn" — a strong, spirited woman who lived her life devoted to the people she loved most. She met Jacob Chavarria at the young age of 15 and, not long after, the two began a relationship that would shape the years to come. Their love story began on the backroads of town, a glance across cars, a bold approach, and soon — weekend dates, long-distance love, and a family that quickly began to grow.
By 21, Cynthia was a mother — welcoming her firstborn, Ricardo V. Chavarria, into the world. Not long after, she gave birth to Maree Chavarria and Hilario V. Chavarria, the three children who would become her life’s greatest joy. Together with Jacob, she created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and love. Even after their divorce, Cynthia remained the heart of the home — and Jacob, in a lasting gesture of respect and gratitude, ensured she and the children could remain in the house they had built together.
In the summer of 2000, Cynthia met her life partner, Robert M. Andrade. With him, she spent the next 25 years building a blended family full of love, support, and shared memories. She embraced Robert’s children and grandchildren as her own, offering the same care and loyalty she gave her own kids.
Cynthia never had to worry about bills or working outside the home — instead, she poured herself into the role she cherished most: being a mother. She cared for her children and family with unwavering dedication, always putting their needs before her own. Her love language was acts of service — whether it was making a favorite meal, offering a shoulder to lean on, or simply being there when she was needed most.
She is survived by her children: Ricardo V. Chavarria: 32, Maree Chavarria: 29, and Hilario V. Chavarria: 28; her longtime partner Robert M. Andrade: 62; her extended family and five grandchildren whom she loved as her own; and her siblings, including her sister Josette Ann Millward: 55 and Mateo Juan Rodriguez: 45, and her parents Juanita Hernandez: 72 and Hector V. Rodriguez: 76.
Cynthia Jo Chavarria lived a life centered around love, family, and care — the quiet kind of strength that holds a family together.
She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and endlessly loved.
