Damon “Boo-Boo” Lossing, age 44, of Pocatello passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025. He was born on March 12, 1981 in Winnemucca, Nevada to Zelda Lossing and Arnold Williams.
Damon lived a small portion of his life in McDermitt, Nevada and moved to Fort Hall, Idaho when he was eight years old. He joined recreation activities and played basketball for the Fort Hall Braves. Damon went to High school in Elko, Nevada for a short period of time. He later graduated from Blackfoot Highschool in Blackfoot, Idaho. He formerly lived in Pocatello, Idaho during his final years with us.
He was known for his vibrant spirit, his laughter and joking nature. He was comfortable around almost anyone; he would say crazy things and make friends wherever he went. Damon was known as “Sonny” or “Boo-Boo”. He has left a positive lasting impact on everyone who has entered his life. Damon will forever be remembered for his booming laugh, caring heart, and the way he made everyone laugh.
Damon is survived by his mother Zelda Lossing of Pocatello, ID. His siblings, Philbert Lossing (St. Anthony), Melinda Lossing (Nampa), Morningstar (Roman) Farmer (Fort Hall), April Pete (Las Vegas), and Jamie Martin (Boise). Damon has numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his father Arnold Williams, grandparents, as well as innumerable aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A viewing will be held at his family’s residence at the crossroads of Frasure and Poleline Ext. in Fort Hall, ID; on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. He will then be taken to Ft. McDermitt, NV for traditional funeral services and burial.
