Dan Rowley peacefully left this earth with family by his side on April 13, 2026, at the age of 70. God lifted him up to join his family members in Heaven. He was born on January 13, 1956 to Thomas Rowley and Maryann (Priest) Rowley in Pocatello, ID. Pocatello, is the place where he was raised by his loving parents, Leta and Tom Rowley, and chose to live most of his entire life.
Dan was a great man who had a profound and deep love for and faith in his Savior, Jesus. His love for his family was the real bond for us all. All his family and friends will remember him for his warm smile, hugs and amazing sense of humor.
Dan went to Pocatello High School, where he enjoyed playing football as a star player. After high school he pursued carpentry and became a journeyman carpenter. A master at his art, every job he completed showed the utmost professionalism with meticulous precision. He was also a teacher, because he taught carpentry to everyone he helped.
Dan was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, riding dirt bikes and metal detecting. He was a simple man who appreciated the little things in life, because he knew the little things were really the big things. He loved music and showed real talent as a guitarist. Listening to Dan play the guitar and sing will always be a cherished memory.
Dan was preceded in death by his father Thomas Rowley, his mother Maryann Rowley and his first wife, Trudy Rowley.
Dan is survived by his mom Leta Rowley, sister Linda (Raymond) Marston, brother Pat (Cathy) Rowley, niece who is like a sister Nicki (Dave) Berry, son Scott Dille, daughter Danielle Rowley, granddaughter Chevelle-Anne Colwell, granddaughter Octavia Cunningham (with his children and grandchildren as his pride and joy) and nieces and nephews, Thomas Rowley, Chad Rowley, Jordan (Kathryn) Berry, Makinzie Berry, Hannah Siler and Sovin Berry.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held by family members at Redfish Lake during the summer of 2026.
