Darla D. Cutler, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away on August 1st, 2024, at the age of 79. She was born Darla Deanne Edwards on July 17th, 1945, to the late William Wallace and Flora Nadine Edwards in Boise, Idaho before relocating to the Salmon area where she spent her youth.

Darla met her high school sweetheart, Robert A. Cutler and they later married on March 16th, 1963. Together they had had three children: Robert D. Cutler, Lori K. Howell, and Chris A. Cutler. Darla’s life was a testament to her love for adventure and family. Her passion for traveling and spending time outdoors allowed her to experience the beauty of the world, while her enthusiasm for attending rodeos added an exciting twist to her adventures. Yet, it was her unwavering support for her family that truly defined her. Darla's presence at countless softball games, dance recitals, and graduations showcased her dedication to celebrating her loved ones' achievements. Her heartfelt involvement in their lives created cherished memories that will endure through generations. Her absence will indeed be deeply felt, as her spirit touched the hearts of many, leaving a lasting legacy of love and support.

Darla is preceded in death by her parents, William and Flora, and her sister-in-law, Ruth. She is survived by four siblings Richard, Jay (Rhonda), Kay (Duane), Kim (Jesse); three children Robert (Michelle), Lori, Chris (April); eight grandchildren Jacqueline, Jacob, Kylee, Madyson, Brennyn, Shaely, Kaitlyn, and Maci; and three great-grandchildren Adilynn, Haylee, and Canyon with another great grandchild on the way.
