Darrin R. Moore

May 11, 1976 — April 24, 2025

Darrin Ralph Moore made his entrance on May 11, 1976, and his exit on April 24, 2025. He was just shy of his 49th birthday.

Darrin’s life was not without struggles. To spite mental, emotional, and physical challenges, Darrin triumphed in many things and surpassed all expectations.

From a young age, Darrin took an avid interest in video games. He spent his life collecting games and gaming consoles that are rather impressive. He loved movies and had several complete sets, and he was gathering more. Darrin was also an avid fisherman and spent many summer days fishing in American Falls. He also bowled on Friday nights.

Darrin attended Irving Junior High where he played the trumpet in the marching band, which he continued at Pocatello High School. During this time he also became a member of the Roy F Kirchner Chapter of the Order of DeMolay. He attended leadership camps and was a Master Counselor twice.

Darrin attended Pocatello High School but graduated from Second Chance High School in Blackfoot, Idaho. This was a milestone he was supremely proud of. Upon graduating, he attended Job Corps in Nampa, Idaho where he earned a certificate in Business Occupations.

Once he finished Job Corps, Darrin moved back home and became a member of The Free Masons. He was honored to be a Mason, and by all accounts was an exemplary one.

Darrin was a father to Bryan, Molly and Grace and a friend to all he knew. He would often help others before being concerned for himself. His heart was huge and to those fortunate to know him, his love and friendship were one of a kind.

Darrin leaves behind his parents, Stan and Marlene Wallerstedt; sisters Gina Moore, Lisa (Brad) and LaRue; nieces and a nephew; his children; and a world of family and friends. He was welcomed in Heaven by his father, grandparents and others who had gone on before.
