Dericc Clawson

Dericc Clawson went to be with our Lord and Savior on April 26, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving wife, children, and best friend, after a courageous five-year battle with colon cancer. Dericc was born on February 21, 1992, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Luke and Nichole Clawson. He graduated from Century High School in 2010. Following graduation, he worked a variety of jobs, but his favorites included driving semi-trucks, coaching football, and working security at the Idaho National Laboratory.

In 2010, Dericc began dating the love of his life, Nikki. They were married in 2012 and built a beautiful life together. They were blessed with a daughter Quinn in 2015 and a son Hunter in 2018, who were the center of Dericc’s world. He was a devoted husband and father, a true family man who cherished every moment spent with those he loved. Dericc had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, football, and snowmobiling. He was a gifted athlete who excelled in any sport he pursued, always bringing determination, strength, and heart.

Dericc is survived by his wife Nikki, his daughter Quinn, his son Hunter, his parents, siblings, many aunts, uncles and cousins, and an abundance of friends. Dericc was preceded in death by his grandpa Matthew Clawson.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, Idaho. A viewing will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S 5th Avenue, Pocatello, Idaho.
