Cover for Devon Leroy Breshears's Obituary

Devon Leroy Breshears

May 19, 1970 — Sep 10, 2026

Pocatello

Devon WAS music. Everything he did, everything he wanted to be, always came back to music. Every moment we spent together initially was listening to his favorite playlists and sinking into the lyrics. My soul is broken he’s gone.

His last played songs on Spotify: Guy Clark “Always Trust Your Cape,” and Trey Hensley “John Deere Tractor”

Most recent artists in Devon’s history: Trey Hensley, The Mavericks, Joe Diffie, Radney Foster, Shenandoah, Cody Johnson, George Strait, Charley Pride, Dwight Yoakum, Diamond Rio

The first songs he ever sent me: “My Favorite Picture of You,” “Life is Messy,” and “Pamela” by Toto

My favorite songs he sang: “Neon Moon,” and “Tougher Than the Rest”

Devon is preceded in death by his parents, Delmar Ray and Marjory Ann (Welch) Breshears; and brothers Danny and Dean.

Devon is survived by his sweetheart, Pamela; and sons Triston (Hana) Breshears, and Morgan (Kenzie) Breshears.
