Dylan Timothy Olson

Dylan Timothy Olson, 20, passed away September 13, 2025.

Dylan was born on July 11, 2005 in Pocatello, Idaho to Brent and Heather Olson. He lived his whole life in Pocatello and graduated from Pocatello High School. He made lots of friends there including the love of his life in his sophomore year. They were planning a wedding for next fall (2026). Dylan participated in Poky wrestling from 2019-2023 and Poky Swim from 2022-2023.

Dylan enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. He loved family time and high valued time with his nephews. He loved spending time with his friends. He also loved to draw, sing, dance, and just be weird. Dylan could light up a room with his smile and his laugh was contagious.

Dylan is survived by his parents, Brent and Heather Olson of Pocatello, ID; siblings, Alyse (Brenden) Welch of Pocatello, ID, and Wyett (Caitlin) Olson of Pocatello; nephews, Enzo Welch and Anthony Olson of Pocatello; grandparents, Sue Ann and Ronald D Olson of American Falls and Timothy Cox of Salisbury, MD.

He was preceded in death by his Grandma Kim Cox, Grandpa Larry, Grandma Barbara, Great Grandpa Olson, Great Grandma and Grandpa Andrews, and Uncle Brian Hansen.

A viewing will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Wilks Funeral Home in Chubbuck, Idaho. A celebration of Dylan's life will follow, starting at 6:00 p.m.
