Eddie Allen Beesley, 84, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026. He was born on February 7, 1942, and spent his life building, exploring, creating, and caring in ways that left lasting marks on everyone who knew him.
Eddie was an avid fisherman and hunter, happiest with a rod in his hand and the open sky above him. He especially loved fishing on the American Falls Reservoir, where—no matter the weather or the luck of everyone else—he somehow always managed to catch a fish. It became a running joke among family and friends that Eddie could coax a bite out of an empty lake.
Resourceful and hardworking, Eddie had a gift for seeing potential where others saw problems. He took several run‑down lots and transformed them into comfortable, welcoming places to live—quiet testaments to his determination and his belief that anything could be improved with enough care.
His travels often led him to rivers and streams where he indulged another passion: panning for gold. He loved the adventure of it, the patience it required, and the thrill of possibility shimmering in the pan.
In the 1960s, Eddie married the love of his life. Together, they built a blended family filled with devotion, humor, and resilience. Eddie lovingly welcomed four children into his life: Kerry (Scott) Mickelsen, Grant (Bobette) Beesley, Alan (Monica) Beesley, and Glen Beesley. Over the years, their home also became a haven for others in need of love and stability, including Chris Carver (deceased), Kevin Windley (deceased), and Ginger Blevins. Eddie was blessed with nine grandchildren and three great‑grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy.
Eddie proudly served his country in the United States Army at Fort Lewis, Washington. His service was a point of deep pride throughout his life, and he carried that sense of duty and honor into everything he did.
Above all, Eddie will be remembered for his unwavering willingness to help anyone who needed it. Whether it was fixing something, offering a hand, or simply showing up, Eddie lived by the quiet, steady principle that kindness is always worth giving.
His legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the places he restored, the adventures he chased, and the countless people whose lives were made better because he was in them.
