Edna graduated from Pocatello High School in 1958. She married her high school sweetheart, Marion Swallow, on June 19, 1959, in the Idaho Falls Temple. They are the parents of six children. She was a loving and adoring mother. After moving to Pocatello in 1977, she had various jobs before becoming a Career Counselor at Highland High School where she was loved by students and staff until her retirement.
She was an active and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many callings. She and her husband were called on a Family Service Mission in Pocatello from 2009 to 2011.
She enjoyed reading and furthering her knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, singing, doing puzzles and word searches, visiting her neighbors and friends, and cherished every moment spent with her family.
Edna had a gift for showing compassion and love to everyone. She will be remembered for the many hugs she gave to family, friends, and strangers.
