Elliot May Adams

Elliot May Adams, beloved daughter of Austin Adams and Vannessa (VanWart) Adams, passed away suddenly on March 23, 2026, from complications of congenital heart disease.

Elliot was a pure ray of sunshine. She always had a huge smile on her face and charmed everyone she met with it. She was born with congenital heart defects, but with wonderful medical care, she was able to be with us for four joyful months. Even though much of her life was spent in hospitals and doctor’s appointments, we could always rely on her to be in a happy mood and smile at her mom and dad. In her short time on Earth, Elliot brought immense joy and love to everyone around her. Her little heart was full of so much love that it wasn’t able to keep up with her body.

Elliot did not get to experience many milestones in life, but she made the most of what time she had. She loved to play with her toys, listen to her mom sing, play with her dad, go for walks, look at trees, talk (babble) to everyone and everything, and smile at anyone who looked at her. Elliot was able to find joy in every circumstance, despite her constant medical struggles. She was and is the perfect example of joy and gratitude to everyone who knows her.

Elliot is the love of her parents’ lives. Everyone who met her instantly loved her. She brought so much light to the lives of those around her. To her family, there will never be another person who was more loved, more loving, more joyful, or more perfect than our sweet little Elliot May.

Remaining to cherish Elliot’s memory are parents, Austin and Vannessa; Grandparents Nicole VanWart, Jesse VanWart, Brittney VanWart, Lynette Adams, Clark Adams; aunts Janae VanWart, Samantha VanWart, Callie Adams, and Courtney Adams; uncles Jesse Mason VanWart, Jason Adams, and Ryan Adams, cousins Raylan VanWart, Isabelle VanWart, Calvin Adams, Quinn Adams, Leonard Adams, David Adams, and Stevie Adams.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2026 at 10:00 am at the LDS Stake Center at 6901 E. Kenyon Dr., Tucson, Arizona. 

Burial with graveside service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Pocatello, Idaho (1520 S 5th Ave, Pocatello, Idaho) at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. A viewing will be held prior beginning at 1:00 pm at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, ID.
