Erik Simnitt

Erik Travis Simnitt, age 13, Chubbuck, Idaho, returned to his Father in Heaven on Wednesday evening, July 30, 2008, surrounded by friends at an LDS church youth group activity at the American Falls Reservoir. He was born May 11, 1995 in Murray, Utah to Robert Joseph Simnitt and Margo Clarice Heer. He lived in West Jordan, Utah until age two, when his family moved to Chubbuck. He attended schools at Tyhee Elementary School, Ellis Elementary School in Chubbuck, and Franklin Middle School in Pocatello where he would have started the eighth grade this fall. Erik was an active member of the Tyhee Stake 48th Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where he was second counselor in the Deacon
