Eunice Alan passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. Eunice was born to James & Mable Merrill on April 22, 1950 in Moscow, Idaho. She was the second child of a family of four. The family moved to American Falls where Eunice attended schools.
She met and married Ralph Pierce. Together they had three girls and inherited four older children; JoAnne, George, Chana and Sandy. Eunice and Ralph were together until his death.
She later moved to Texas to being a new life and to live closer to her sisters. It was in Texas she met Norman Alana, the love of her life. After Norman's death and because of a few health concerns, Eunice decided to return to Idaho to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren.
Eunice had a big heart and loved to cook and entertain for family. Her cinnamon rolls were a favorite.
She is survived by: two sisters; Helen Moore of Texas and Janet Lewis of Reno; daughters, Jackie Pierce and Joy Hoffman, both of Pocatello; stepdaughters JoAnne (Bob) Valentine of Utah and Sandy (Tom) Walker of Alabama; stepson, George (Shirleen) Pierce of American Falls; grandson, Pierce Bobo of Missouri; son-in-law Glen Allred of Boise, as well as many grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; husbands, Ralph Pierce and Norman Alana; stepdaughter, Chana Allred and daughter, Grace Pierce.
As per Eunice's wishes no public services will be held.
