Evelyn Maria Call Brown Bronson
Born: August 13, 1944, in Malad, Idaho
Died: April 15, 2025, in Stansbury Park, Utah
Evelyn was the beloved daughter of Dorma Layton Call and Gerald Call. She grew up alongside her siblings: Connie Burke (Glenn), Steve Call (Debbie, Shauna), JoAnn Andersen (Lynn), Jim Call (Nedra), Jerry Call (Laurie), Terri Palmer (Kyle), and Clair Call.
She married Lou Brown (7/13/1969), with whom she was blessed with four children: Kevin Brown, Clint Brown (Jodi), Craig Brown (Andrea), and Kandace Allen (Troy).
After Lou's passing (9/27/1981), she found love again and married Herm Bronson (3/30/1984-12/3/2016, date of death). She cherished her relationship with his six children: Ken Bronson (Tamsin), Keith Bronson (Tonya), Gary Bronson (Shelly), Lisa Bainter (Paul), Vickie Pincock (Larry), and Gina Allen-England (Thom, Paul).
She lived in various places throughout her life, including Pocatello ID; Arimo ID; Magna Ut; Syracuse, Ut; and Layton Ut, before settling in Stansbury Park Ut where she died at home.
Her unwavering dedication to her Savior, Jesus Christ, was a cornerstone of her life. A devoted and strong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she held many church callings at ward and stake levels. Evelyn also served a mission to the Southern States Mission and continued to dedicate herself to service within the Church and her community with a particular love for working with the youth.
Evelyn's heart was always open, at times by inviting many youth to live with them over the years. Evelyn had a natural gift for teaching, which she shared both within formal classroom settings and through the countless lessons she shared with family and friends throughout her life.
Evelyn was a cherished grandma to her 25 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored and who knew of her deep love for them. Her grandchildren lovingly called her "Grandma Bubbles."
She had a remarkable ability to connect with people from all walks of life and embraced everyone with love and acceptance. Known for her adventurous spirit, even skydiving, and deep love for her family, Evelyn faced lifelong health challenges and pain with incredible strength and grace. She often served others despite her own struggles. Even in difficult times, she had an incredible ability to see the positive and radiate true happiness, a perspective she shared with those around her.
In her final months, Evelyn often expressed her excitement for the new adventures that awaited her beyond this life. Freed from the limitations of her earthly body, Evelyn is now able to serve, teach, love, and play without pain. She is undoubtedly making her presence known in the next world.
