Gene H Adams

Gene H. Adams, 89, passed away on November 20, 2025.

He was born on January 4, 1936, in Riverside/Blackfoot, Idaho. He was raised in both Blackfoot, Idaho and Pocatello, Idaho. He attended Pocatello High School. He entered his young adult life serving in the Air Force in Korea.

He met and married Velma Willis, and they made their home together in Chubbuck, Idaho, where they raised four children.

He loved horses, farming, and any and all animals. He loved his artwork and painting. He enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, fishing and hunting. He loved to travel, and he enjoyed shopping and car rides. His time in the Air Force was very important to him, and he loved most things military.

He dearly loved his wife, family, children and friends. He loved watching John Wayne movies, and John Wayne was his hero in life. He enjoyed his last days living at Cordona Apartments with his friends and dog, Maxmillian.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Velma Willis Adams; parents, Harvey Wayne Adams and Lila Marie Cobbley Adams; and his brohers, Wayne Adams, Darwin Adams, Leon Adams, and Gary Adams.

He is survived by his children, Lorraine Adams Stratton (Leslie Stratton), Gloria Adams Norman, Calvin Dean Adams, and Brian Gene Adams.
