Trudy passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones on November 19th, 2025 in Pocatello, Idaho.

Trudy was born October 10, 1941 in Boise, Idaho to William Lester Schofield and Alta Ruby (Harvey) Schofield. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Paul, Bill, Dan, Walt, and Tom (Vietnam).

On January 10th, 1959, Trudy married her high school sweetheart Thomas Frank Perkins, who passed away last December. They had six children, three girls and three boys, together.

She was also previously married to now deceased Charles Bacon as well as now deceased Walter Willie, with whom she had a son.

Trudy held numerous managerial positions including working at American Microsystems Inc. in Pocatello. She was a talented homemaker, decorator and gardener. She enjoyed creative writing, reading, thrifting, and going on road trip adventures.

She was loved by all who came to know her. She will be remembered as a loving mom and grandmother, and a compassionate and giving friend. She is passing on her strength, courage, and determination for generations here and to come. She will be dearly missed.

Trudy’s lasting legacy will live on through her children, Debby Perkins White of Mesa, Arizona; Craig (Denise) Perkins of Pocatello, Idaho; Tammi Perkins Jackman of Ogden, Utah; Annette Perkins Spencer of Chubbuck, Idaho; Ken (Tammy) Perkins of Ogden, Utah; Brandon (Lisa) Perkins of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Gordon Willie of McCammon, Idaho. Trudy has 29 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of Trudy’s life will be held in her honor on Saturday, January 10th, 2026, 11am at LDS Church on Hawthorne and Chubbuck.
