Gregory S. Dodge

Gregory Stratton Dodge, 82, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025, in Pocatello, Idaho where he had resided for the last seven years.

Greg was born in Berkely, California, to Ross and Ruby Dodge. He grew up in Eureka, California where he helped in his parent’s bakery, Modern Cake Shop. He graduated from Eureka Senior High School.

Greg served in the US Army and was in Viet Nam. He enjoyed a long career working for National Cash Register as a machinery technician.

His favorite activities were to attend sprint car races and airplane shows. He was a private pilot for over 40 years and owned two airplanes in his lifetime. He was also the proud owner of a 1929 Model A.

He is survived by his daughter, Shauna and her husband, Glenn Jones; grandson Alan and his wife Megan Jones, three great grandchildren, Haddie, Max and Cami Jones; his brother, Stan and his wife Joanne Dodge and his children, Kelly Dodge and Ryan and his wife Kasi Dodge.

Greg had a great sense of humor and a quick wit. He always had a good comeback.

No services will be held but Greg will be buried beside his parents at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oroville, California.
