Jack Barber

Jack J. Barber, 87, of Pocatello, passed away on Thursday, Aril 4, 2013. He was born on July 7, 1925, in Arimo, Idaho, to Ora John and Ila Gill Barber. He married Wanda J. Strack on November 22, 1951, on Thanksgiving Day in Twin Falls, Idaho. They have 3 sons: Brett (Christi), Brian (Cyndi), and Bryce. Jack served in the 60 th Infantry, 9 th Division, Battle of Germany from 1944-1946. He worked for 38 years for the U.P.R.R. in Pocatello as a brakeman. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Mountain View Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to the graveside beginning at 11 am at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave.
