Jacob "Jake" Lee Burrows, 43, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away on June 27, 2025. Born and raised in Pocatello, Jake attended school in both Chubbuck and Pocatello, where he developed a lifelong love of sports and community. He proudly played baseball for Highland High School, a passion that continued throughout his life and became a legacy he shared with his son.
Jake was known for his generous heart, his quick smile, and his unwavering support for those he loved. He made friends easily, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh. His devotion to his family was evident in everything he did, but especially in the way he loved and cared for his children, Roslynn and Porter.
Jake supported Roslynn in all her endeavors, encouraging her in everything she pursued, especially her art. His walls are proudly decorated with her paintings—a daily reminder of his love and admiration for her talent. With Porter, Jake found a shared joy in baseball. He spent countless hours with his son at the baseball diamond, coaching, cheering, and passing down the game that had meant so much to him. He is truly Porter's biggest fan, and he felt so much pride watching him on the mound.
Jake’s impact on those around him was profound, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and laughter.
He is survived by his beloved children, Roslynn and Porter; his brothers, Travis (Krystal) Burrows and Ty Burrows; and a wide circle of family and friends who will miss him dearly. Jake is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Thompson; his father, Craig Burrows; his grandparents, Darrel and Helen Faye Burrows; grandparents, Marlin and Joanne Thompson; and two uncles, Mike Burrows and Doug (Uncle Dougie) Burrows.
