James Sanchez, 82, passed away on July 16, 2025.

He was born on June 19, 1943, in Taylor, Texas, to Maria and Guadalupe Sanchez. He married the love of his life, Lorraine, on July 2, 1994. They enjoyed 31 years of marriage together.

James loved nature and being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, hiking, 4-wheeling, motorcycle riding, and ATV club. He loved spending time with his family and friends would often send encouragement and inspirational quotes to them.

He was a devoted member of Christ Church for 29 years, serving faithfully as an usher. He treated his church family as family.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Ann Jaramillo. He is survived by his two daughters, Angela Llamas and Amy Murphy; his step-children, Thomasine Chavez, Andrew Chavez, and Raynelle Carmona; 22 Grandchildren and 32 Great Grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Christ Church, 1245 N Arthur Avenue, Pocatello, ID. Burial will follow the service at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S 5th Avenue, Pocatello, ID.
