Janice Lynette Bloom

Janice Lynette Bloom passed away on April 29, 2026 at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho. 

Janice was born Janice Daily on September 16, 1952. Janice enjoyed a loving childhood with her seven siblings and her parents, Fritz and Dote Daily. 

Janice will always be remembered as a Butte girl with strong ties to her family. Janice could be described as Butte Tough and did her best to pass on these traits to her children. 

Janice married Charles (Charlie) Raymond Bloom on June 8, 1972 and raised four children, Charles Jr. (Chuck), Kevin, Dan, and Cody. 

Janice worked in various professions during her working career where she made many close friends. These professions include nursing and teaching. Janice exhibited the character of being the most concerned about the most vulnerable in our community, children and the elderly and working in nursing and teaching helped her serve these individuals. Janice always said there was so much a person could learn from children and the elderly. 

Janice will be a dearly missed mother, sister, aunt and friend.

Janice is survived by her sons, Chuck (Brenda) Bloom, Kevin (Jan) Bloom, Dan Bloom and Cody Bloom. Janice is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Jim (Mitzi) Daily, Bill (Ann) Daily, Mary (Steve) Sullivan, Bill (LeAnn), Verlanic, Janette Stembridge, and Bud Verlanic. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Pocatello Animal Shelter in her behalf. Janice always had a special place in her heart for animals including her dog Hank.
