Jason Paul Davie

Dec 14, 1976 — Aug 1, 2026

Pocatello

Jason Paul Davie, 49, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2026.

He was born on December 14, 1976, to Ed and Vicki Davie. He grew up alongside two older sisters and was the youngest of the siblings. He graduated from Pocatello High School in Pocatello, Idaho and worked for the City of Pocatello, which job he loved and couldn’t wait to get in his “new work truck”. He was so proud of it and made sure everyone saw it while smiling from ear to ear.

He lit up a room whenever he entered and would make sure everyone knew he was there. He would often tease and joke with all who knew him. He was so kind-hearted, loving and caring and was willing to lend a hand when needed.

Jason had a love for fishing, especially bass fishing and would make bets with anyone fishing with him to try to catch more fish than he did, especially with his fishing buddy, Patrick. He also had a love for golf and never took his golf game seriously, especially when golfing with his brothers-in-law and nephew, Dan, Scott, and Aaron. It has been known that they goofed off more than they golfed.

He is survived by his soulmate and fiancé, Shelly Guymon, whom he loved so much and would often call her “Baby”; his daughter, Myla Rae whom he nicknamed “Rae-Rae”; his parents, Ed and Vicki Davie; his sister, Melissa (Dan) Budge; his sister, Lori (Scott) Briley; his fiancé’s parents, Kim and Sharon Guymon; his nephews, Talon Briley and Aaron Briley and his niece, Baylee Budge and many other cousins, aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald and Betty Conlin and Ernest and Ruth Davie; uncles, Tom Davie and Ern Davie, Jr.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4775 Hawthorne Road, Pocatello, ID.
