Jeffrey J Rowe

Jeffrey J. Rowe, 41, beloved son of Calvin and Jeanine Rowe of Chubbuck, Idaho, passed away on March 6, 2026. 

Jeff was born in Pocatello, Idaho, on July 3, 1984. He attended Chubbuck Elementary and Hawthorne Jr. High, and graduated from Highland High School in 2002. In 2023, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Business Management from BYU-Idaho. 

Jeff worked for the Kroger Company in various management roles, where he was respected for his dedication, attention to detail, and hard work. 

On December 23, 2011, Jeff married Leslie Cunningham in Boise, Idaho. He was honored to become a "bonus dad" to Averie Brown and later welcomed his sweet baby girl, Rylee, on May 23, 2012. Jeff’s family meant the world to him, and above all, his greatest joy was being a father to his girls. He loved them fiercely and will continue to love, watch over, and be with them throughout their lives. 

Known for his strong faith, Jeff was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His faith was a guiding force; he found strength and comfort attending the temple, listening to General Conference talks, and reading the Book of Mormon. 

Jeff also had a well-known playful side. His wit, playful teasing, and practical jokes meant that if you heard laughter, Jeff was usually right in the middle of it. He held a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys, including music, fishing, and watching sports. He especially enjoyed trips to water parks and amusement parks and loved celebrating the Fourth of July. 

Jeff is survived by his two daughters, Rylee N. Rowe and Averie A. Brown; his parents, Calvin D. Rowe and Jeanine Madsen Rowe; and his former spouse of 13 years, Leslie A. Cunningham Rowe, whom he deeply loved. He is also survived by his siblings: Kristi K. Lott (Zach), Robbie D. Rowe (Hillary), and Julie A. Bollinger (Kyle), as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Stan and Esther Madsen, and Jerry and Colleen Rowe. 

Service Information

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at the LDS Church located at 300 E. Chapel Rd, Pocatello, ID 83201. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Arrangements are under the care of Wilks Funeral Home.
