Jo Ann went home to be with the Lord on September 5, 2025 at Copper Summit Assisted Living in Pocatello, Idaho. She was born on November 15, 1937 in Sheridan, Arkansas to Joseph and Margaret (Cummings) Crook. She and her family moved to Bagdad, Arizona when she was a freshman in high school. She met the love of her life, William Satathite, at a football game in Bagdad. They were married on August 25, 1956 and raised their family in Bagdad where she worked as a secretary for Bagdad Copper Corporation and the Bagdad School District. She and Bill moved to Challis, Idaho in 1979, where they both worked for Thompson Creek Mine. Upon retirement, they moved to Prescott, Arizona until 2003 when they moved to Palo Cedro, California. She was a member of Redding Community Bible Church and Sigma Phi Gamma. Jo Ann was an active member of the Order of Eastern Star in Bagdad, Arizona; Challis, Idaho and Prescott, Arizona.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. She is survived by her sister Sarah Cromer of Flagstaff, Arizona; son William Satathite Il of Pocatello; daughter Rebecca Tyler of Palo Cedro; five grandchildren - Amy, William, Stuart, Jessica and Scott; and five great-grandchildren - Zoey, Jade, Amber, Eleanor and Annabel.
