John Brian Paige

John B. Paige, 66, of Pocatello, Idaho passed away on September 17, 2025, after a prolonged battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

John was born on December 3, 1958, in Pocatello, ID, to Eldon and Mary Paige.

John graduated from Highland High School in 1977 and then took courses at Idaho State University’s electronics program. John discovered one of his passions when he began working as a city Letter Carrier with the United States Postal Service where he accomplished an impressive 40+ year career. He also served in the National Association of Letter Carriers at the local and State level where he acted as the State President for several years.

In 1983, John married the love of his life, Teresa Mae Turner, and they were married on August 5th of that year. In 1986, their son, Bradley Paige, was born and quickly became the apple of their eye. John dedicated much of his life to serving his community as a Letter Carrier and frequently spoke about his great joy in delivering the mail and interacting with his customers. John delivered numerous mail routes over the years and could frequently be found delivering in Old Town Pocatello.

John was always willing to lend a helping hand or jump in to help anyone he could. He valued hard work and dedication – John almost never called in sick to work. John enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, astronomy, local history, and comic books. Much like his favorite comic book hero, Superman, John was certainly a Super Man to those who knew him.

John is survived by his son Bradley (Michele) and his older brother Robert “Buddy” Paige as well as several nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Teresa, his parents, and his two older sisters, Carol and Pamela.

As per John’s wishes, there is no scheduled service. He would be happy for us to remember him as he lived.
