Joyce Joann
McNurlin
March 13, 1943 – May 17, 2026
Joyce Joann McNurlin, 83, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away at her home on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
Joyce was a devoted stay-at-home mother whose life was marked by love, dedication, and a deep care for her family. She was born to Rosa Pearl Powers and Howard Scot Blevins on March 13, 1943, in Boissevain, Virginia. Joyce’s early years were shaped by her upbringing in Ohio and Michigan, before she made Idaho her home upon marrying her beloved husband, Donald McNurlin, on December 29, 1990.
Joyce had two passions in life, nature and her family. She was a woman who found joy in nurturing her loved ones and fostering close, enduring relationships. Her family was her cornerstone and brought her immense happiness throughout her life.
Her love for the outdoors led her to find another passion and travel across the country, where she was able to enjoy the beauty of the United States, finding joy in the adventures and experiences each trip offered.
She is survived by her husband, Donald McNurlin; her children, Terry Wood, Robert Wood, Debra Andersen, and Shirley Nishkin; as well as her grandchildren, Robbie Nishkian, Kyle Nishkian, and Tristan Wood.
Joyce's funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 11 am at Wilks Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301, with a viewing one hour before. Joyce will be laid to rest at Snake River Canyon National Cemetery, 1585 East Elm Street, Buhl, Idaho 83616.
