Kameron Aden Bowers passed away May 31, 2025 due to a drowning accident in Grace, Idaho. He was born June 25, 2006 to Paul Kendell and Kelli Dawn Lewis Bowers at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho.
Kameron attended school at The Academy, Connor Academy, and graduated from Gem Prep Pocatello in 2024. His high school years were spent taking dual credit classes through Gem Prep and Idaho State University. He loved chemistry and completed an internship at the ISU chemistry department during one of his last semesters of high school. His last 2 years of high school were spent taking classes on campus at ISU. He graduated as High School Salutatorian of his class and with enough college credits to be a senior. He received the ISU merit scholarship and was enrolled to begin his last year at ISU this fall to obtain his Bachelor Degree.
Kameron was very inquisitive from a young age and was a “sponge” for information of any kind. He loved being outside, camping, hiking, and going for drives. He also loved to take photos and create videos. He was a little whirlwind and everything he did was fast. Kam was not your average kid; he was extraordinary in so many ways!
Kameron loved the gym! He worked very hard and was very strong! His 3-hour trips to the gym usually included 2 hours of socializing, checking on whoever was there, and encouraging them to keep working hard. He was mastering his handstand and was always proud when he had a new PR in his weight lifting. He loved to climb, and evidently climbed a lot of things! Kameron had also recently started swing dancing every week and loved it! Again, meeting lots of new people who became his friends.
Kameron worked at Costa Vida, Home Depot, and had started working at Lamb Weston in March. He worked hard and made his work fun wherever he was. He made many friends and had a positive impact on them.
Kameron was a foodie! He was his Mom’s right hand when it came to cutting up fruit and vegetables from a very young age, and usually with our biggest knife. He created many loaves of perfectly shaped bread and his infamous Oreo chocolate chip cookies. He loved to share them with everybody. He could spice up any dish with his talent and loved creating his weekly meal prep containers. Paprika, lemon pepper, cayenne pepper, and Jalapeno powder were some of his favorite spices. He created many different dipping sauces and added plain Greek yogurt to just about everything. Protein was very important! He also enjoyed taste testing and ranking different things including chocolate milk and energy drinks. One of his recent loves was Burto’s carne asada burritos. His latest record of eating one was in 1 minute 28 seconds. He was also preparing for his Big Jud’s rematch this year and we think he would have conquered it!
Kameron loved thrifting and had quite the collection of t-shirts, jeans, and shoes to prove it. He would find special clothes that he knew his friends and family would enjoy to give as spontaneous gifts.
Kameron loved games of every kind, especially strategy games. He had a large collection of board and card games. He also loved to game, play video games, his switch, and anime. Many nights were spent in our home with friends having a fun time eating, being silly, and playing games of all kinds.
Kameron genuinely cared about people and never met a stranger. He had a smile and personality that attracted people to him, but he also noticed individuals and always made the effort to make them feel loved. He could strike up a conversation with someone he had never met, and have a good friend within 5 minutes. Kameron’s friends throughout his life meant a lot to him and he loved each of them in a very personal way.
Kameron was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Kam’s family was very important to him. He was always very thoughtful of each of their needs and spent time talking with them and showing his love to them in personal and individual ways. We love him and are so grateful to know that families are forever, and we will be together again!
