Kathleen Marie Anderson

Kathleen Marie Anderson 84 years old of Pocatello ID passed away peacefully on July 24th, 2025.

Born to goodly parents, Reed and Marie Anderson on March 1st, 1941, in Shelley ID. She had 2 brothers Steve & Gordon and 4 Sisters Diane, Linda, Nancy and Beth. She graduated from Shelley high school in 1959. She married to Lonnie William Hansen and lived in Blackfoot. She later moved to Las Vegas NV. She lived there with her husband and four boys. Tony, Timmy, Tysen, and Travis until the early 70s.

Kathleen and her husband divorced in the early 70s when she moved with her four boys to Shelley Idaho to live with her parents while she went to school where she went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in music education and a Master's degree in health education.

Kathleen and her four boys then moved to Pocatello Idaho. Where she finished up her college degrees and began to work as a teacher in the Pocatello school district. She resided in Pocatello until 2025.

She is preceded in death by both her parents, five of her six siblings, One son and one grandchild and one grand child’s spouse.

She is survived by her sister Beth and her husband Mike Hulet, her sister Diane’s Husband - Roger Millar, Sister Linda’s Husband - Blaine Russell, her Brother Gordon’s wife - Paula Anderson, 3 children , 6 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

Kathleen was known for her love of God and her family. She loved the LDS church and was the organist for 35 years. She loved music.

Memorial Services will be held at the Alameda Stake Center 930 E. Alameda, Pocatello, Id. 83201 Saturday 2nd at 11 am. With a grave site dedication at Rest lawn Memorial Gardens 1520 S. 5th Ave. Pocatello, Id. 83204. Then a luncheon back at Alameda Stake Center.
