Kaye F. Mccartney

Kaye Francis McCartney, 79, passed away peacefully February 9, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family.

Kaye was born July 28, 1932 in Elizabethville, Pennsylvania a daughter to Milton L. and Mildred M. (Barrett) Sturtevant. She graduated from Elizabethville High School with the 1950 class of graduates.

Kaye is a Past-President of the American Legion Auxiliary, and Past Secretary for Ladies of the Elks. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cross-stitching, needlepoint, knitting, and oil painting.

Kaye is survived by her husband, Archie F. McCartney, Chubbuck, ID; sons and daughters-in-law, Henry W. (Rose) Johnson III, Chubbuck, ID; Wayne M. (Sandy) Johnson, Chula Vista, CA; grandchildren, Wayne (Alex) Johnson; Bill (Susan) Johnson; Michael (Medea) Johnson; Shannon Johnson; and David Johnson; great-grandchildren, Branden Johnson; Brenna Johnson; Isabella Johnson; Kara Johnson; and Conor Ames; niece, Glenda (Dan) Risch, Racine, WI; and great-niece, Jessica Grimm.
