Laurie Christine Sievers

Laurie Sievers passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at the age of 67, leaving behind cherished memories with the people who loved her. She was born to Herman and Barbara Sievers on November 13, 1958, in Kimberly, Idaho.

Laurie was known for her hardworking nature and spent 26 years working at the Idaho State Liquor Store before ultimately retiring in 2023. Outside of work, she enjoyed spending her time creating beautiful metal flowers, as well as sewing and quilting. These hobbies reflected her creativity, patience, and love of making things with her own hands.

Laurie was baptized with St. Edward’s Catholic Church and continued following her faith into adulthood.

Family was very important to Laurie, and she treasured the time she spent with the people she loved. She valued family connections and the memories made together.

Laurie is survived by her loving son, Logan (Melissa) Sievers, and her two siblings, Anne (John) Gay and Tom (Lynette) Sievers. She has six nieces and nephews: Matt, Chris, Beth, Arron, Trevor, and Tory.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Herman and Barbara, and brother Herman James.

She will be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

May Laurie rest peacefully, and may the memories she created with those around her bring comfort to her family and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, October 19th, 2026, at St. Edwards Catholic Church 161 6th Ave E, Twin Falls, Idaho. Interment will take place following the funeral at Twin Falls Cemetery in Twin Falls, Idaho.
