Lawrence David Jarvis, 78, passed away on October 31, 2025.
He was born on April 12, 1947, in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, where he grew up. He was the last of 15 children.
He lived in several states doing masonry and construction work before finally settling in Pocatello, Idaho. He was proud of graduation from Idaho State University with a bachelor's degree.
He had a passion for hunting all his life; deer, elk, birds, it didn’t matter. His family never went hungry. Lawrence also loved horses, panning for gold, fishing and camping. He was known in the neighborhood for his willingness to help anyone anywhere. He loved to plow snow with his 4-wheeler for the neighborhood.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Jarvis; daughter, Jeanette Hobson; two granddaughters, four great grandchildren; brother, Dick and two sisters, Dolly and Joanie.
He is preceded in death by his parents and all but three siblings, and one granddaughter, Nichole, who was born on his birthday, and they reunited on the same day in death.
Per Larry's wishes no services will be held at this time.
