Lee Ann Edgley Kenison, born to Howard and Shirley Cooper Edgley on September 25, 1946, embarked on her final journey on January 26, 2024. Surrounded by the love of her family, Lee Ann peacefully passed away, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever linger in the hearts of those who knew her.
Lee Ann was the eldest of seven siblings, a beloved sister to Pamela (Alan) Green, Betsy (Terry) Maag, Barbara Edgley, Beverly (Ted) Corrington, Debbie Lance, and Craig (Marilyn) Edgley. On March 31, 1967, she joined hands in marriage with Steven Lyman Kenison, creating a life filled with love and shared adventures. Together, they had four children: Steven Trent, Trina, Travis Howard, and Tara Lee.
A graduate of Idaho State University in Cosmetology, Lee Ann dedicated over 20 years to Dorothy’s House of Beauty before transitioning her career to Alameda Vision. Her commitment to others extended beyond her professional life, as she passionately volunteered for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), advocating for children and families navigating the judicial system.
Lee Ann’s zest for life was evident in her diverse interests and hobbies. From snowshoeing to hiking, scuba diving to skiing, boating to mountain biking, and capturing the beauty of the world through her lens in photography, she embraced every opportunity to experience the wonders of life.
Lee Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Shirley, her sister, Pamela, and her beloved daughter, Trina. She is survived by her children, Trent, Travis (Sharla) and Tara (Jeff) Lebsack, four grandchildren; Robert (Jerrica) Kenison, Cade Kenison, Bailey Lebsack, and Morgan Lebsack. Although she is no longer physically present, Lee Ann’s spirit will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to know her.
