Loa LaRee Egbert Anderson, whose life was decorated with music, compassion, and faith, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 due to kidney failure from complications with diabetes. Born on October 30, 1954, in Jerome, Idaho, Loa was the seventh of ten children born to Elsie Lea Arrington and Francis Marion Egbert, Jr.
Loa's early life in Twin Falls, Idaho, was filled with the joy of a large family and an everlasting love for music. She graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1973 and continued her studies at the College of Southern Idaho, where her passion for music flourished through her participation in various choirs and memorable performances in musicals like Brigadoon, Oklahoma, and The Sound of Music.

A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Loa served faithfully in many callings, finding particular joy in working with the nursery and Primary, and especially in any capacity involving music. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her church service; she earned her CNA from Utah Valley State College and began caring for the elderly and disabled in assisted living centers, where her gentle and compassionate heart made a profound difference. In May 2009, Loa and her family were sealed for time and all eternity in the Twin Falls, Idaho Temple.
Music remained a constant and cherished thread throughout Loa's life, a gift she generously shared with her family and community. Her final morning was spent in the engaged in this passion, singing beloved oldies, Broadway tunes, and hymns with her daughter.
Loa is survived by her loving daughter, Brandy Nichole (Greg) Roth, and her adored grandchildren, Dakota, June, and Wren. She is also survived by her siblings: David (Ann) Egbert, Kendal (Becky - deceased) Egbert, Carol (Ray) Conover, Merl (Kathlyn) Egbert, Myrna (Wes) Fry, Donald (Lori) Egbert, Douglas (Carleen) Egbert, and Maurice (Amber) Egbert, along with a plethora of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will dearly miss her.
