Our Lonna (Pooch) passed away peacefully with family at her bedside in Twin Falls, Idaho after an extended illness. Many will miss her generous, loving spirit. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of all who loved her.

Lonna was born in San Jose, California. She met and married Ron Smith in 1961, Campbell, California. They moved to Jerome, Idaho and raised two devoted daughters, Dana and Marci.

She was a distinguished artist known for her several paintings, winning blue ribbons at the County Fair. Although she had many hobbies, none eclipsed her love for horses. She achieved her lifelong dream of having a cabin near the mountains, where she could ride her horse. She rode her horse with the Thursday Sage Riders with her numerous beloved friends. One of her greatest joys in life was trail riding in the mountains with her horse.

Lonna is survived by her husband, Ron, and daughters; Dana McManaman (Kelly), Jerome and Marci Turbeville (Vance), Kimberly. She loved and cherished her many devoted, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; And many nieces and nephews. Lonna was preceded in death by her parents Bobette and Leo Clarence Vaughn; brothers Timothy and Pat; sister Kathlee Bunch.

Celebration of life will be at The Stonehouse September 19 @ 3PM. Please RSVP to Lyndsi @ 208-731-4239. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to Alzheimer's Association , P.O Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011
