Louisa V. Sucher

Louisa V. Sucher, 76, passed away on August 4th, 2026, in Twin Falls, Idaho. She was born on January 7th, 1950, in Tularosa, New Mexico, to Frank and Barbara Vigil.

Louisa spent her early years in Tularosa with her mother and brother until she met the love of her life- Lanny Ray Sucher. They were married on April 17th, 1971, and shared 55 wonderful years together. After their marriage, Louisa and Lanny moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, where they built their life and raised their family.

Louisa was a devoted mother to their four sons: Danny Ray, Paul Brian, James Dean, and Walter Lanny. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great pride in caring for and supporting her children and grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Louisa worked various jobs, but her most important and cherished role was being a homemaker and mother. She devoted herself to her family and found great joy in creating a loving home for those she cared for.

Louisa was funny, nurturing, and deeply devoted to her family. She loved to go dancing, cooking and baking, watching her favorite shows, and most of all, laughing. Her laugh was contagious and could brighten any room. She had a way of bringing warmth and joy wherever she went.

Her family was her greatest joy and her greatest legacy. The love she gave, the meals she prepared, the laughter she shared, and the memories she created will remain with her family forever.

Louisa is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Barbara; her brother Jimmy; and her beloved son, Walter.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lanny; her sons, Danny, Paul, and James; and her grandchildren, Angela, Jessica, Danny, Ashley, Brian, and Abby; and numerous great grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 11:00 am, at St. Edwards Catholic Church, 161 6th Ave E, Twin Falls, ID 83301. Louisa will then be laid to rest at Snake River Canyon National Cemetery, 1585 East Elm Street, Buhl, Idaho 83316.

Louisa will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
