It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lupe Lynn Korten, who departed from this world on June 15, 2024, after a ten-year battle with cancer. Lupe was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend. Her selflessness, strength, unwavering positivity and love touched the lives of all who knew her.

Lupe had a love for athletics, art, and the outdoors. Whether she was playing various sports, decorating beautiful cakes and crafting, or camping with friends and family, Lupe enjoyed life most when surrounded by her loved ones, especially her pups, Garfield and Lily, and grandchildren, Robbie and Drew.
She is survived by her loving spouse, Craig Korten; her children, Paige Korten and Pashence Nigh; her grandchildren, Robert Nigh and Drew Nigh; her parents, Paco and Gayla Gutierrez; her siblings, Tony Gutierrez and Angel Cheek; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 19th from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at Wilks Funeral Home; 211 W. Chubbuck Rd. Chubbuck, Idaho, followed by a Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 20th at St. Anthony's Church, 524 N. 7th Ave. Pocatello, Idaho, beginning at 10:00 am, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share stories of the joy she brought into their lives.
