Lynda Ione Waterhouse, 51, passed away January 19, 2020. She was born January 21, 1968 daughter of Ira Waterhouse Sr. and Alfreda Punkin Waterhouse. She attended Tyhee elementary, Hawthorne junior high and graduated from Highland High School in 1987. She lived in Fort Hall all of her life. She married Bradley Tendoy Sr., they had a daughter Reesah, they were later divorced. Lynda drove bus for special education and later senior nutrition prior to working at Fort Hall Casino. She worked as a hostess, cage cashier, Porter, and floor worker at Fort Hall Casino. She was also security dispatcher at Fort Hall Casino. She was the 26th Annual Miss Shoban from 1989-1990. She was a member of the Native American church. She enjoyed traveling, sightseeing, gambling, Indian dancing, beading, riding horses, astrology, and was very family oriented. She was a member of the Ross Fork Creek singers. She is survived by her daughter, Reesah Tendoy; granddaughter, Elise Tendoy; grandson, Trenton Evening; sisters, Bertha Waterhouse, Manuelita Waterhouse, Iralene Waterhouse (Richard Reed Jr.), VanDalia (Kidd) Farmer; stepson, Harlan Tendoy; uncles and aunts, Doyle, LouSandra, Glenn, and Theora; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ira Waterhouse Jr; sister, Norma Patty; maternal grandfather, Andrew Punkin Jr.; maternal grandmother, Ellen Lewis Punkin; paternal grandfather, WillIe Waterhouse; paternal grandmother, NellIe Waters Waterhouse; and numerous other relatives. Lynda will be at the Tepee at her family home at the corner of Cemetery and Siler Roads at 12 noon Tuesday, January 21, 2020 until 2 PM Friday, January 24, 2020. Traditional Native American burial will occur at 2 PM Friday, January 24 at Ross Fork Cemetery.
